All Matte EOTD
And a tutorial too! kinda..haha
I’ve been seeing a some matte EOTD’s around lately and I noticed they can be really beautiful in their own right. I think we tend to go for shimmery or pearl shadows cuz they look cute in the pan, but this time I got really excited to just use mattes.

I used the green shadow in the upper left mixed with a matte Jordana black shadow. Jordana actually has pigmented shadows and they’re super cheap too, but when I was at walgreens today I didn’t see any Jordana shadows! Where are they?? Long’s maybe? If you know where to get Jordana shadows, please let me know. They carry a bunch of matte colors too. And it costs like 99 cents each or something. But anyway..
I tapped my Coastal Scents crease brush into the green a few times then the black a few times and applied all over the lid, but concentrated on the contour part and stayed away from my upper lashline.

Line and Highlight. I used Milani ‘Almondine’ for a highlight.

The only thing about mattes is that they can be harder to blend, so I would just strategically place my brush when applying the shadows since I know it might be hard to blend later.

New Stuff & Green EOTD
I’m back! I must really love you guys… 
Here’s some goodies I got recently
Cubbies from the Dollar Tree. I like them because you can stack them!
Plastic Bag holder from Ikea. Some girl passed by the plastic bag holders and looked at them and said “What the heck is that for?” and rolled her eyes. It’s something everyone needs they just don’t realize it yet. [That's an original Dyno in the background].
Toothbrush holder from Ikea. It’s so cute! I share the bathroom with a dude and one of these days the sink counter top will be filled with girly stuff and he will get scared.
Something else I go nuts for….honey milk tea with tapioca! From the mom and pop donut shop near my house. The staff is sooo friendly there!
See it’s the little things that make me happy Oh wait, here’s a big new thing…
New computer! Well, semi new. It was a hand-me-down from my dad cuz he’s always looking to upgrade his electronics. It’s a huge step up from my old piece o’crap laptop. [for those who are nosy and are gonna enlarge that picture, if you look carefully there's a shoutout to xppinkx haha]
And now for makeup things…EOTD!
I used a bunch of green shadows…yeh. I’m super lazy to list them, it’s amazing that I even posted this much so far. If you’re dying to know what I used then let me know. Oh yeh and did you noticed my eyebrows got magically fixed? I had them threaded last week! I’ll post on it later…I promise!
Smokey Challenge!
I did this look to submit to Temptalia’s smokey eye challenge. It was inspired by one of her looks, but I only used drugstore products. I love Temptalia! She’s very skilled at what she does, creative with her color combinations and presents it all in a professional aesthetic manner. She’s amazing!
Products used:
- UDPP
- Pantina Gel-liner in green [base]
- NYX Lime Green on inner 2/3 of lid
- L’oreal HIP Riotous dark green side on outer v, crease, lower lashline
- L’oreal HIP Flamboyant golden yellow above crease, inner tearduct
- Estee Lauder Neutral 6 as highlight
- Rimmel Underground Liquid Liner
- VS Beauty Rush lipgloss [a sheer peachy shade]
ugly pics of me and Individual Collective Gallery Opening!
This is the look I did for the gallery opening. It turned out aright I guess. I used the lighter color of the Riotous L’oreal HIP duo and a grey shadow to contour. It looks pretty similar to my riotous look though. I’m not at home so I didn’t have access to my watermark and had to make a new one [not that anyone cares].

Last night was the opening of the Individual Collective’s gallery…opening.

I also used my NYX in lime green to help blend the dark and light green. I applied the HIP shadows with mixing medium.

I feel like my posts should be more in depth than this, but I’m really lazy at the moment.
Eyes: NYX lime green on inner lid applied wet, a forest green pigment on outer lid applied wet, TBS shimmer cubes bronze for contour, NYX Sahara for highlight
I’m looking forward to washing my face later on because today was HOT and I feel so gross. Pardon me while I try to find something interesting to blog about…
Rimmel Green Smoky
I used the Rimmel SpecialEyes in Green Go. I honestly am not too fond of this pallette, but it was the only one I brought with me! And I bought it when I didn’t know that much about makeup. It has a chunky consistency, and it’s not very well pigmented. I had to layer it on to get a good effect, and then it wouldn’t photograph well! But I’ll show you the pictures anyway…

I got frustrated. And to add to that, my brother’s camera has trouble focusing!
