Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush
HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVERYONE!! Did you have a good new years eve? I did, I watched fireworks off the Embarcadero in San Francisco with my babes and my cousin and new friends. It was soo nice!

The shadow looks like its in a liquid liner type packaging, so I thought it would be a cream shadow, but its actually powder inside, with a sponge tip applicator. This will be great for highlighting the tear duct and the applicator is already included so I don’t need a separate brush.

The Beauty Rush lipglosses are very sheer, almost like a clear gloss on my lips. They both contain shimmer, but it’s subtle once on the lips. The snowplum [pink] has a weird scent that I can’t describe and the spicee apple [beige] has a bubble-gum sorda scent. One caveat to the beauty rush glosses are that they are REALLY STICKY, but I’m drawn to them because they are affordable, have a wide color selection, moisturizing and since they are so sticky, they’ll stay on your lips foreverr.

And because of the sale I got each item for $1.75 each! 
They normally cost $7.00 if you only buy one and then the price changes if you buy 2 or 3, like 2 for $12 or 3 for $15…I think those are the prices. I went to a different Victoria’s secret and found another beauty rush gloss and it was like a pina colada flavor and the color was a shimmery light brown and I wanted it, but I didn’t want to wait in line just to buy one thing. Oh well, I still have my first BR lip gloss [tastes and looks like apricot] and I’m still working on it!
Oh yeah and I think it’s really cool that the lip gloss is swirled in the tube. How do they do that?? It’s amazing…

Here’s some goodies I got recently
Cubbies from the Dollar Tree. I like them because you can stack them!
Plastic Bag holder from Ikea. Some girl passed by the plastic bag holders and looked at them and said “What the heck is that for?” and rolled her eyes. It’s something everyone needs they just don’t realize it yet. [That's an original Dyno in the background].
Toothbrush holder from Ikea. It’s so cute! I share the bathroom with a dude and one of these days the sink counter top will be filled with girly stuff and he will get scared.
Something else I go nuts for….honey milk tea with tapioca! From the mom and pop donut shop near my house. The staff is sooo friendly there!
See it’s the little things that make me happy Oh wait, here’s a big new thing…
New computer! Well, semi new. It was a hand-me-down from my dad cuz he’s always looking to upgrade his electronics. It’s a huge step up from my old piece o’crap laptop. [for those who are nosy and are gonna enlarge that picture, if you look carefully there's a shoutout to xppinkx haha]
And now for makeup things…EOTD!
I used a bunch of green shadows…yeh. I’m super lazy to list them, it’s amazing that I even posted this much so far. If you’re dying to know what I used then let me know. Oh yeh and did you noticed my eyebrows got magically fixed? I had them threaded last week! I’ll post on it later…I promise!

Sorry for the lack of updates! That usually happens when I go away for the weekend and also I’m in the process of moving so that keeps me busy. I found some coconut oil at Walmart in the supplements section for about 10 dollars, but I didn’t get it cuz I wanted to see if I can find it somewhere else for cheaper. I’m moving to San Francisco [the bay area where I'm originally from ] and I know they have plenty of natural food stores there where I can continue my search for coconut oil.
I had a dilemma yesterday when I went to buy some Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. They had it on sale at Walgreens buy one get one free for Queen Helene products. However, the only QH products they offer there are the Mint Masque and the Cholesterol conditioning cream for hair. I wasn’t interested in the conditioning cream because I just have a feeling it won’t work. So I could have gotten 2 tubes of the masque, but I know it would take longer than a year to finish the first tube anyway so I didn’t get two tubes either. I was hoping that if i just got one then I can get it for half of the sale price like at supermarket when its say 2 for 4 dollars, but if you only bought one then it you only pay 2 dollars. Well, that wasn’t the case at Walgreens! So I just got one and it was 2.99, which is still ok because it’s usually 3.99. I sorda feel regrets for not picking up something else for free, but I don’t want to think about it cuz it’ll just make me go crazy haha.
